This is a mid-range Flavia Brewer that offers a lot of drink-making capabilities in a small package. It is a single-serve type of coffee machine that makes a fresh cup of coffee in seconds so you don't have to make a whole pot each time. You just make your next cup when you are ready for it. It's a great system.
You do need to use your Fusion Deluxe only with Flavia coffee packets (Flavia Drinks) for it to work. But with more than 30 choices that include several kinds of coffee as well as teas and chocolate drinks, there is a lot of options. Their coffee range from light to dark, there are black, green and herbal teas and with the milk packets, you can even create a latte or a cappuccino. It's very versatile but you are limited to the Flavia packets for all your brewing.
To operate the Flavia Fusion Deluxe, you just put the little packet into the machine and select your brewing options. The machine opens up the filter pack and brews to perfection. It's very easy to use.
The Fusion Deluxe is a little smaller and sleeker than the regular Flavia Fusion, but the water tank is still large enough to hold water for about 6 cups of coffee before you have to refill it. And when you do refill it, there is an easy-to-read volume gauge on the side, and the tank comes off so you can take it to the sink.
There is only one color scheme, a nice neutral grey and black look. It should fit fine in any kitchen, and the measurements are 13" high x 9" wide x 14.5" deep. The control panel is a brightly lid LED and easy to use. You can customize your brewing.
One nice feature of the Flavia Fusion Deluxe is the simple hot water dispenser. It is really handy to have piping hot water at the push of a button, to making other things like soup or oatmeal. It heats up in just a few seconds, making it much quicker than a typical kettle.
The brewer has an integrated water filter so you know you are getting a pure cup of coffee or tea even if you are using regular tap water in the tank. The dispensing head of the machine is adjustable, so you can move it to fit that tall coffee cup or even a travel mug.
This is a good machine for home use, or in a small office where 2 or 3 people are drinking coffee each day.
