Tully's Kona Blend Coffee K-Cup

Let me start by saying, I have NOT had the "Extra Bold" as pictured here. I bought my box of 18 at Bed Bath & Beyond for $10 when I found out that I WON THE FEB 2010 SWEEPSTAKES!! Sorry, excitement got to me there... Anyway, I tried the Kona Blend (non extra bold), by Tulley's this AM. I really really like it. It was a great purchase. This is the type of all-around coffee to have in the house or at the office when you're just wanting a cup of joe. The is a lingering coffee tast (not necessarily "after taste"). SIDE NOTE: an after taste to me is when you drink a coffee and the remaining taste or flavor that come "after" the swallow is something slightly different than what you tasted when the coffee was on your tongue. An example of this would be the GMC Wild Mountain Blueberry. "end side note". This Kona blend just leaves you with knowing you had a good cup of coffee. It is smooth, med-full bodied, and best if brewed in a medium sized cup. That is the middle button on my NEW B60!!! oops, slipped again. I would recommend this for anyone that wants an everyday coffee or for your guests that have no coffee preferences.

can't say that I have tried the Tully's brand, but I am a Kona fan! I also like the iced versions of coffee. depending on the weather and my mood.

I would rate Tully's Kona #2 behind Green Mountain's Kona. These are listed as a bold coffee without having a bold taste. This is a very smooth nice tasting, easy to drink coffee. Good for anytime.

I would say this Kona is okay. It's not particulary special tough. I think it's fine if you're looking for an average cup of coffee, but I wouldn't drink this in the morning. Breakfast coffee needs to have more of a kick. I think this is more of an afternoon coffee. I'm not completely sold on this Kona but I'm still open to other Konas and others in the Tully brand.
